I am an artist by passion, physician by calling, blogger, avid gardener, mother, wife and a globe trotter.

I am a self taught artist and I am constantly evolving! I am influenced by nature, colors, seasons, emotions people around me and the garden spaces I created in my back yard. I love to create beauty around me and for others. So sometimes I go beyond gardening and painting such as making sculptures and jewelry.  My extensive travels, exposure to different cultures and its influence can be seen in my art. I don't like to be restricted to one genre and I use color pigments of any medium- oils, acrylics, water colors, alcoholic and acrylic inks, pastels, collage to create texture.  Every  brush stroke, every color pigment I choose, every technique I use and the spontaneity with which I paint, there is an emotion behind it.

When I paint, I am in a zone and I invite you to explore my world of art.

My artworks have inspired other people, made them thoughtful and ponder, provoked some, healed some, brought happiness to some.. My art has touched the inner chords of some who became my repeat collectors. When a collector purchases my painting, they don't just get the canvas and the paint, but  a piece of me.  For me when my art finds a new home, its  like my child that finds a new home. 

I have sold art works to many private collectors for their homes,  including doctor's offices, and other businesses. I mostly sell through my own website, some local shows and through galleries such as Saatchi.
